Family Group Decision Making
About:
Family Group Decision Making is a statewide initiative that offers families the ability to have a voice in the Child Welfare system. By participating in the Family Group Decision Making process families in our community will be able to create a plan that works best for them to be able to keep children safe.
Before this process occurs there is also preparation work that needs
completed which includes:
- Thinking about who you want at the conference
- Providing information to those you want at the conference
- Deciding where and when the meeting will take place and what the shared meal will be during private family time
